It was such a beautiful Fall day so I took the opportunity to shoot some pictures around the house.

Bear Bait! We wanted to cook dinner on our elk excursion so we packed up the never-before-used George Foreman Grill. It was so late before we got to cooking dinner, we felt quite vunerable out there in the wilderness. Not the smartest thing we've ever done, but we survived to tell the tale!

Science Center in Grand Teton National Park where our friend's daughter worked last summer. Our friends, the Talbot's, told us this was a great place to view elk and they were right.

We drove over to Grand Teton Nat'l Park on Monday to see if we could find some elk. We saw three distinct groups and it was great. Couldn't get a picture of all of them but here are a few to enjoy. They are aware we are trying to get closer when I took the picture. Not long after this some hikers came along the tree line and scared them off. We waited a while to see if they would come back, but they were done for the night.
